Registration Policies

Refund Policy

Refunds for convention registration can be requested until two weeks before the event.

Age Policy

You must be at least 18 on or before the first day of the conference in order to attend CONfab.

Harassment Policy

CONfabulation is dedicated to providing a harassment-free convention experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, national origin, age, and/or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of convention attendees in any form. Convention attendees violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the convention without a refund at the discretion of the convention organizers.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, national origin, age, and/or religion will also be considered harassment under this policy. Attendees asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

CONfabulation reserves the right to take whatever action it deems necessary and appropriate in response to violations of the above policies, at the sole discretion of the convention organizers. Enforcement measures may include, but are not limited to, reminders and warnings, temporary removal from convention spaces, and permanent expulsion from this and/or all Winconferences Next Gen, LLC future events without a refund.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund and/or all future CONfabulation events.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of convention staff immediately. Convention staff will be identified at opening ceremonies and are listed in the convention program.

Convention staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the convention. We value your attendance.

We expect participants to follow these rules in all convention venues (including online and virtual spaces) and at all convention-related social events. Vendors and exhibitors are also subject to this anti-harassment policy. Convention staff reserve the right to ask vendors to modify any content on display.

If at any time an attendee needs to report harassing or threatening behavior, that person may contact us via email (info@confabcon.com) or by finding any member of the Con Committee and discussing the matter in person. To the best of our ability, we aim to protect the privacy of subjects or witnesses who report offending behavior.
